What Toolcedar collects and what it does not. The tools run entirely in your browser, so anything you paste into one never leaves your device.
What you type into a tool
It never leaves your device, and we never receive it. Every tool on this site runs as JavaScript in your own browser after the page has loaded. There is no server that processes your input, because there is no server involved at all — the pages are static files.
This applies to everything: the JSON you format, the token you decode, the password you generate, the numbers you put into a calculator. None of it is transmitted, logged or stored anywhere. You can verify this yourself by opening your browser’s network panel and watching while you use a tool.
We therefore cannot recover, delete or hand over anything you entered into a tool. We never had it.
What the site does collect
Aggregate usage statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people arrive at. It is cookieless and does not build a profile of you or follow you across other sites. What we see are totals: how many visits a page received, roughly where in the world from, and which site linked to it.
Performance measurements. Vercel Speed Insights reports how quickly pages actually loaded for real visitors. It records timings, not content or identity.
Standard server logs. Our host, Vercel, records requests as any web host does. These logs include IP addresses and are kept by Vercel under their own retention rules for security and reliability purposes.
Advertising
This site uses Google AdSense to fund its running costs. When advertising is served, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to select and measure ads, and depending on your settings those ads may be personalised based on your prior activity on other sites.
We do not receive your browsing history from Google, and we do not send Google anything you typed into a tool. You can review and change how Google personalises advertising for you through your Google account’s ad settings.
Cookies
The site itself sets no cookies. It has no accounts, no logins and no sessions, so there is nothing for a cookie to remember. Any cookies you encounter here come from Google’s advertising, described above.
Who else is involved
- Vercel — hosting, analytics and performance measurement.
- Google — advertising through AdSense.
- Cloudflare — the domain’s DNS.
Each of these operates under its own privacy terms. We do not sell or share personal data with anyone else, and there is very little of it to share.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to request its deletion, or to object to its processing. Because we hold no accounts and collect no directly identifying information, in most cases the honest answer to such a request is that we hold nothing linked to you.
You can still ask. Write to contacto@toolcedar.com and we will answer.
Children
These tools are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under thirteen.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially — a new service, a different kind of data — the date at the top will change with it. It is not updated for routine deployments, so an old date means the policy genuinely has not changed.
